Colombia stocks higher at close of trade; COLCAP up 0.05%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.05%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG), which rose 2.84% or 500.00 points to trade at 18,080.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS) added 1.82% or 520.00 points to end at 29,020.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) was up 1.62% or 440.00 points to 27,660.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC), which fell 1.67% or 600.00 points to trade at 35,400.00 at the close. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) declined 1.38% or 140.00 points to end at 10,000.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) was down 0.49% or 160.00 points to 32,740.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for December delivery was up 1.15% or 2.90 to $254.95 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.26% or 18.00 to hit $7,048.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 5.85 to trade at $2,673.35 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.47% to 4,168.86, while BRL/COP fell 0.09% to 764.09.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 102.24.
