Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.61% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which rose 4.88% or 293.00 points to trade at 6,293.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 4.53% or 209.00 points to end at 4,820.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 4.30% or 3,070.00 points to 74,430.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leumi (TASE:LUMI), which fell 1.05% or 45.00 points to trade at 4,232.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) declined 0.92% or 65.00 points to end at 6,994.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 0.89% or 59.00 points to 6,593.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 217 and 81 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.42% or 0.98 to $70.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.23% or 0.89 to hit $73.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.81 to trade at $2,625.39 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.19% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.79.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 107.99.
